Hello Ūsked Community
This past week we were made aware of a disruption in email deliverability to select email domains protected by a service called Cloudmark. By design these services do not tell you why they have blocked your email only, that it has been blocked. Domains such as @comcast.net, @cox.net, @icloud.com, @me.com, to name a few were blocking any system generated emails from Ūsked servers.
Based on what little information that is available we believe this was caused by a sudden drop in our IP Address reputation due to Ūsked Licensee email behavior. The safeguards we added to the email delivery system earlier this year kicked-in as designed and enabled a quick reputation recovery. At this time we believe the situation has been remedied.
One of the leading reasons for the accelerated drop in IP Address reputation is high volumes of blocked emails which is why the safeguard needed to prevent repeat sending to email addresses that have already failed in the past. As a result, many of you will have email addresses that are sitting on your Disabled Email Address list which can be found at Support > Scheduling > Disabled Email Addresses. Please review each row in this report and only remove the addresses that you can confirm are correct and should not be on the list.
We understand how integral the communication component is to a service organization’s success. It is why we made the improvements we did earlier this year and why we will continue to optimize our email delivery policies and safeguards. We ask that each of you refer back to the email we sent on March 4th of this year titled “New Ūsked Email Policy,” for instructions on how this can be avoided in the future.
As always, please feel free to reach out to if you have any questions regarding this issue by opening a support ticket.
