Locations, Points of Contact, and File Attachments

Locations, Points of Contact, and File Attachments

The places, people, and files you use on requests are saved to your account once and reused everywhere. Manage them from the More tab - Locations, Points of contact, and File attachments - or create them on the spot while filling in a request.

Saved once, used everywhere

Each list shows how many requests use each item ("Used by X requests"). That's the point — and the caution: editing a shared item updates every request that uses it. The app warns you before saving changes to something that's in use.

A warning dialog explaining the location is used by several service requests and that saving changes will update all of them.

If you place requests for more than one account, use the picker at the top of each list to choose which account you're managing.

Locations

A location holds a name, the address, and notes. Add one with the + button, or fix a typo by opening it.

Note: some organizations manage locations centrally — if yours does, the list is view-only in the app and your office handles changes.

Points of contact

A point of contact holds a name, notes, and as many ways to reach them as you need — email addresses, phone numbers, and instant messengers, each with its own label (for example "Work" or "Front desk").

File attachments

An attachment holds a name and a file — pick it with your phone's file picker, and replace the file later without touching the requests that use it.

Archiving an attachment

Done with an attachment but don't want to lose the history? Archive it: it stays on the requests that already use it, but can't be added to new ones. You can Restore it any time. Use the Show archived filter on any of the three lists to see archived items.
