Managing Your Invoices (App)

Managing Your Invoices (App)

Find your invoices under More → Invoices.

The Invoices list with filter chips All, Open, Submitted, and Paid, invoices showing status chips and totals, and a Current invoice button.

Filter with the chips at the top — All, Open, Submitted, or Paid. Tap Current invoice to jump straight to your open invoice for the current pay period (the app creates it for you if it doesn't exist yet).

Reading an invoice

An open invoice summary showing the grand total, pay period dates, the Invoice by and Pay date lines, totals by category, and an entry list with Add work and per-entry remove icons.

The summary shows the status and grand total, the pay period dates, Invoice by — the date the invoice will be submitted — and the Pay date, plus totals by category (business hours, non-business hours, expenses, mileage). Below that, every entry on the invoice.

Adding your completed work

While an invoice is open, tap Add work to see completed work that hasn't been invoiced yet and add it. If an item can't be added, the list tells you why next to that item. Added something by mistake? Remove it from the invoice — you can add it back later.

The Add work sheet listing completed assignments with dates and amounts, each with an Add button.

Travel and expenses

Open an entry to see its full rate breakdown. While the invoice is open you can add travel reimbursement to a work entry: expenses, miles, and travel notes, then Save travel reimbursement.

An invoice entry screen showing the assignment, type, total, a detailed rate breakdown, and travel reimbursement fields for expenses, miles, and notes with a Save travel reimbursement button.

When does my invoice get submitted?

Automatically. Your open invoice is submitted on its Invoice by date — typically a few days after the pay period ends, though the exact timing is set by your organization. There's nothing to press: just make sure your work and travel are on the invoice before that date.

Questions about an invoice

Tap Email billing on the invoice to start an email to your organization's billing office with the invoice already referenced.

Getting a PDF copy

Tap PDF on the invoice to view it in the app, then use the share button to save it or send it anywhere your phone can — handy at tax time.

An invoice PDF rendered inside the app with a share icon in the top bar, showing provider details, submission and pay dates, and line items.

Note for staff (W-2) providers: your invoices are view-only in the app — the office assembles them for you.
