Requesting Leave (Staff Providers)

Staff providers can view leave balances and request time off under More → Leave. (If you don't see Leave in your More tab, your account isn't set up as a staff account — contact your office.)

Your balances

The card at the top shows your current balances — Leave, Professional development, Personal days, and Comp time, whichever apply to you — including how much is pending approval.

The Leave screen with a balance card showing Leave, Professional development, and Personal days balances including pending hours, a list of pending leave days, and a New request button.

Below the balances, each leave day is listed with its dates, times, status, and the hours deducted. Use the date range chip to look further back or ahead.

Requesting time off

  1. Tap New request.
  2. Choose the first day and last day, the start and end times, and the time zone. Check Professional development or Personal day if that's what this is.

The New leave request form with First day, Last day, Start time, End time, and Time zone fields, checkboxes for Professional development and Personal day, and a Continue button.

  3. Tap Continue. The app shows exactly what the request will deduct — hour by hour, day by day — before anything is sent.

A confirmation dialog asking whether to submit the leave request, warning that it will deduct 8 hours over 1 day, with the day itemized and Back and Submit buttons.

Note: your organization's leave rules may adjust the leave type for some days (the preview points this out in red when it happens).

  4. Tap Submit. The request goes to your office for approval and shows as Pending.

Changing or canceling a request

You can edit a leave day from the app only while it's Pending. Once leave has been approved or invoiced it's locked — the app will say "This leave request can no longer be changed." Contact your office if something needs to change after that.
