Creating and Submitting a Service Request

Creating and Submitting a Service Request

Requests start as a quick draft you can flesh out at your own pace, then submit to the scheduling office when they're ready.

Step 1 — Create the draft

Tap + on the Home tab. Only the event name is required to create a draft — everything else is pre-filled and can be changed now or later:

  • Requester — shown only if you place requests for more than one account
  • Time zone, service date, and start/end times
  • Notes

The New request quick form with Event name, Time zone, Service date, and Start and End time fields and a Create draft button.

Tap Create draft and the full request form opens.

Step 2 — Fill in the details

Fields marked * are required to submit — you can always save a draft without them.

Top of the full request form with a legend explaining which fields are required to submit and that a draft can be saved without them, above the When section showing service date, times, and time zone.

  • When — service date, start and end times, time zone. These lock once the request is submitted, so double-check them before submitting. Tip: for an overnight event, choose an end time earlier than the start time — that means it ends the next day.
  • Where — pick a location * from your saved locations, or tap + New location to add one on the spot. Add a room if it helps people find you.
  • Details — audience size * and dress code * (the choices in these lists are set by your organization), provider gender preference, how many providers you need *, whether the event is open to the public, and notes to the office.
  • Group members — add the people receiving services, or add a brand-new client with their name, service, and contact details.
  • Points of contact, file attachments, and preferred service providers — search what you've saved before, or create new ones without leaving the form.

The Where section of the request form with the Location dropdown open, listing saved locations and a New location option.

Locations, points of contact, and attachments are saved to your account and reusable on every future request — see Locations, Points of Contact, and File Attachments.

Step 3 — Save as draft, or submit

Tap Save. On a draft, the app asks which you want:

  • Keep as draft — nothing goes to the office yet; finish it any time
  • Submit — the request goes to the scheduling office and its status becomes Pending Confirmation

A dialog asking whether to keep the request as a draft or submit it to the scheduling office, with Keep as draft and Submit buttons.

To submit, five fields must be filled: event name, location, audience size, dress code, and providers wanted. If one's missing, the form points it out.

After submitting you can still edit most of the request while the office allows it — but the date, times, and time zone stay locked. Contact your office if the schedule itself has to change.
